PROJECT DIRECTOR @ ALI & SONS CONTRACTING CO.
August 2017 - Till date
Defining project activities and developing schedules and forecasting budgets, contingency plans, and exception control.
Ensuring successful execution of project components within agreed scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
Overseeing project processes to ensure optimum results; analyzing costs and performance post project completion.
Creating the framework used to develop and monitor project metrics and manage the collection of project data.
Tracking project progress while facilitating progress review meetings with consultants, contractors, top management, and officials for improvisation across the project activities and completion.
Enforcing the best practices and cost-effective techniques for effective and efficient completion & delivery of projects.
Assuring maintenance of safety, quality, and environmental aspects of the projects.
Streamlining the project operations by establishing and implementing the systems and processes.
Shouldering with the entire accountability of spearheading the project management right from conception to turnkey.
Dynamically managing the key functions, project proposal or plan evaluation to conclude time frame, budget constraints, procedures for project completion, staffing necessities, and accessible resources allotment across numerous project/s phases.
Proactively setting up work plans and staff to meet the project requirements.
Accountable for evaluating and overseeing the stage inspections and certifications, measurement checking, certification, and clearance of contractor invoice/ bills. Developing a safe work environment throughout the workplace.
Assuring the project progress is following the schedule, budget, and quality by steering the activities of project personnel. Acquiring the Technical/commercial clarifications on unclear issues and assessing contractual requirements.
Developing robust coordination with the Consultant, Project Manager/s (PMs), Safety Manager, and Third-Party Inspection agencies. Leading the Project Quality Plan (POP) and Safety Plan implementation throughout the projects.
Networking with the Project Manager to assess the prepared status reports and modify schedule or plans.
Entrusted with the overall accountability of handling the entire quality management throughout the project activities and phases. Instrumentally overseeing the program delivery and evaluating client requirements.
Dexterously steering and piloting project activities of government regulatory or other agencies. Liaising with existing contractors and sub-contractors for forming effective communication across the site.
Managing the major aspects such as reviewing and approving project execution plans such as ITP (Inspection Testing Plan).
Complying with the guideline laid by ISO9001 throughout the job procedures and QA plans finalization.
Steering an array of activities including:
Surveillance of construction activities
Construction monitoring and Quality assurance
Forming strong interaction between clients & subcontractors, vendors, and inter-department.
